     Welcome to the official website of NAUI Course Director Frederick Claro, one of the greatest personality in the world of scuba diving education.      Frederick is willing to pass on the tremendous experience he accumulated through his years as a scuba educator, and over two decades of scuba diving worldwide.

     Frederick, also known as "Freddy" and "the Grizzly" has patiently built a career through the years from Divemaster in 1989 up to the position of one of the most active and Award Winning NAUI Course Director / Instructor Trainer in the World. He is known to be a very straight forward person, and has always said what he thought in numerous circumstances involving the recreational diving industry with safety, environment, business, and development issues.
     He rarely has been proven wrong. His personality is not always appreciated in the profession, as he too often hurts and touches sensitive spots in telling the truth. Some of his strong statements became famous and if sometimes the "Grizzly" roars, we are glad to know that it is because he is still passionate after all these years, to care about issues others put aside long ago...We need personalities like Freddy's in any of our life interaction, as they are the one who keep rulers on their toes and bring to any activities expertise, competence, safety, respect, detachment, and pride of achievement.

 


 
     Frederick is today one of the most active Instructor Trainers in the world, and certainly one of the most successful independent dive educator.
