1973-74: Junior High School 1st XV - Left Winger -
1975: Join the Douai Rugby OlymPique (DROP) at its creation.
1976-78: U16 Douai Halfback (Scrumhalf) and Captain, plaid few senior games at Flyhalf (1st 5/8). Provincial club champion 1977, 1/8 finale French U16 championship lost to PUC
Provincial High School Champion with Lycee Albert Chatelet, 1/8 finale French ASSU championship, lost to a Paris High School
10 representative selections with Flandres Province U16: Lyon provinces tournament, tours in England, Scotland, and Wales
1979-81: U19 Junior with Douai, Provincial Champion 1980, High School Provincial Champion 1980
Club and province: Flyhalf, High School: Halfback
Senior games, plaid accession to National III Division with Douai Senior 1st XV
10 representative selections with Flandres Province U19 and U20: plaid two opening games prior France-Canada and France-Romania in Stadium Nord, Lille, against the National Team of Belgium. Province tours in England

1981: Lille IRIS Club, National III Division, University Lille I-III - Flyhalf and Halfback -
1982: University Provincial Champion, plaid unsuccessfully the accession to the National II Division with IRIS - U21 Province selections -
1982: IRIS, University, year of injuries...
1983: Military Coach, Inter-Army championship, Germany
1984-85: University Rugby Team (injured most of the time...)
1986-1989: Police Officer Paris
1990-Today: International Professional Sport/Leisure Coach/Instructor, sport/leisure business management and development:
     Frederick is also a NAUI Course Director (Scuba Diving Instructor Trainer and Examiner for the oldest American scuba diving association) with two decades of diving experience and hundreds of Instructors trained worldwide, recipient of international Awards, Professional Educator, Business Developer, Technical and Marketing Advisor for numerous facilities, he is the founder and Director of Consult Dive International (1995), a dive business and education consultancy. He specializes in motor skills development, analysis, technical counseling, and career development advices.
     Frederick is an Instructor Trainer for First Aid / CPR and Oxygen administration of the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) and NAUI, and a rescuer of the French "Protection Civile Nationale".

2003: Get back to Rugby with the High Performance Coaches' Course at the International Rugby Academy of Wellington, New Zealand
Course run by Laurie Mains, former All Blacks coach 1992-95, and Super 12 Highlanders coach 2002-03, assisted by former All Blacks legends: Murray Mexted, Director of the Academy (above picture left), Graham Mourie, Graham Henry, defense coach of the 2003 Super 12 champion Auckland Blues, Dave Rennie, back coach Wellington Hurricanes, and position specialists coaches: Sean Fitzpatrick, Ian Jones, Mark Shaw, Dave Loveridge, Jeff Wilson, David Campese, and Balie Swart.
2005: Tudor Bompa Institute (TBI) Periodization Planning Specialist and Director of Training for TBI in Japan and for the French speaking countries.


 

     Beside the fact of having the chance to be coached by such a team of great talent, experience, knowledge, and coaching power, Frederick would like to thank specifically his personal mentor without the sought of who he wouldn't have come back as a rugby coach: his first ever club trainer and mentor: Christian Haristouy, MPh.Ed, Physical Education Professor, former halfback of Pau in south west France, and one of the greatest player and educator Frederick had the chance to approach, when Christian was a Ph.Ed teacher in Douai. A true believer of the game, a passionate communicator, and...a friend!..

     Frederick is living in southern Japan, in Kyushu and is involved with University Rugby Team coaching and development. Currently coaching Kumamoto National University Rugby FC.
